A BI-PARTISAN ELECTION COMMISSION THAT OVERSEES NATIONAL, STATE, AND COUNTY ELECTIONS.

Mission: Putting together a vision and a team to plan and successfully influence the United States Government to implement a system of voting in the America that clearly protects democracy and makes voting easy and fun for every registered voter.

There are movements in the country to encourage online voting, and more paperless electronic voting. Unquestionably the confusion surrounding voting has gotten out of hand.

A myriad of problems concerning voting have come to the nation's attention since the election of 2000. On the eve of the 2004 election only 1/3 of the American voting population expressed confidence that their vote would count. After the election 48 percent felt their vote had been counted properly. According to the American University Center for Democracy and Elections, out of the world's 120 democracies "more than 2/3 of those have independent election committees. Only 14 percent retain the approach that the U.S. has taken, where the elections are run by government and often by partisan official."

Votingsolutions.org aims to educate the public on voting, and influence the US government to take on an independent, non-partisan election commission, and to establish federal mandates as to how elections are run on state and county levels…thus relinquishing the total control of elections from the hands of state and county officials.

Our website offers a forum for members to discuss how to do achieve these goals, and a mainpage of proposed solutions…to be narrowed into a simple and executable plan. Our goal is to influence members of the house and senate to support that plan, to establish a bipartisan independent election commission and to issue a constitutional amendment stripping states and counties of absolute control as to how elections in the United States are run, and to improve dramatically the relationship between the federal , state and county governments.
